About Taubah Academy

Taubah Academy, was established in 2002 and founded by Sis. Halima Mohamed & Brother Anthony-Najeeb Kerlew, to afford the Muslim residents of DeKalb and Gwinnett counties: a homeschool education alternative.

Since inception, Taubah academy has strived to provide our children an atmosphere as close to the Islamic ideals as possible, and an environment that renders the intellectual, spiritual, and physical development of our children as whole individuals.

Taubah academy serves one of the largest immigrant Muslim community, in the Metro Atlanta area. Therefore, Taubah Academy recognizes it's pivotal role in promoting the development of good citizens who contribute to their local communities and humanity at large.

Recently, the administration expanded the scope and depth of Taubah Academy's operations. The spectrum of services range from counseling and educational support services for homeschoolers, to tutoring and academic couching for k-12 students and adult learners.

Welcome to Taubah Academy. Your child is joining a academy where we encourage children to achieve their full potential, both academically and spiritually. We feel that our unique environment is what sets us apart from other institutions in the area.

We provide a welcoming and warm environment where children can develop the critical thinking, reasoning skills, leadership abilities, and social skills necessary for success in school and in life.

Our goal is to create an educational environment that nurtures the intellectual, emotional, and physical needs of every student. We strive to provide every student with quality education based on Islamic values and traditions.

Our teachers and staff are committed to giving every child the education needed for a bright future. We also cultivate good character, prepare students for life, and teach them about Islamic morals and ethics as well as the Qur'an.

We hope that you will help us make Taubah Academy a successful education center, one in which your child can learn with confidence and achieve success.
